World Series of Poker Bubble

The last person to be knocked out of the World Series of Poker main event before the money is usually considered the most unlucky person in poker. Not this year. The person who is officially deemed the 'bubble' (see Poker Dictionary) at this years main event (the person knocked out last before the prize money kicks in) will be offered a package to the Irish Open 2007 which will include flights, accommodation and the buy-in to the main event.

Details of the Irish Open 2007 will be announced a few days after the World Series main event ends on 10 August 2007. The full and colourful history of the Irish at the World Series of Poker can be found at Paddy Power and a history of the Irish Open, the world's second longest running texas hold'em tournament after the WSOP, Irish Poker Open.
