Bruce Crispin Leyser sues Jamie Gold

Jamie Gold, winner of the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event, is being sued by Bruce Crispin Leyser for $6 million.

Leyser claims that he and Gold had an agreement prior to the Main Event in which he would receive 50% of Gold's winnings. Leyser has presented a recording from his telephone answering machine in which Gold confirms the deal the morning of the final table. A Clark County District judge therefore created a 15-day restraining order that forbid Harrah's from releasing the $12 million prize money while the courts sort out the details.

Gold has hired an attorney but has not made any public comment about the lawsuit.
