Kenna James Bounty League
Professional Poker Champion Kenna James and
Sun Poker have announced the start of a brand new poker league, The Kenna James Bounty League. This new league will start by rewarding a total of four Sun Poker members with $10,000 seats at the main event of the L.A. Poker Classic, an additional $2,500 for hotel and airfare, and a personal training session with Kenna James.
The newly formed Bounty League will feature a $22 buy-in tournament every Thursday where Sun Poker members will have the opportunity to play against Poker Superstar Kenna James. The lucky Sun Poker member who knocks out Kenna will receive $500 in prize money as well as extra bounty points. Bounty points are given out for participating in each tournament, for knocking Kenna James out of a tournament, and based upon the players' tournament performance. The more tournaments members' play, the more points they will be able to accumulate. Point totals will be refreshed each month, allowing every player a new opportunity to play and win.
The final table at the end of each month, determined according to the top 10 bounty point holders, will award one winner a place in "The James Gang", as well as one of the four monthly grand prizes. This prize package will be available during October, November, December, and January, with the L.A Poker Classic starting in February.

Lucky You the Movie
Poker movies! Of course there had to be some coming soon right!
Lucky You is a feature-length Warner Bros film that is scheduled to hit theaters soon. Academy Award winning director Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential, Wonder Boys, 8 Mile) directed the movie and it was produced by acclaimed producer Carol Fenelon (In Her Shoes, 8 Mile). The cast of Lucky You consists of very well-known actors and actresses as well, such as Robert Duvall (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, Sling Blade), Eric Bana (Munich, Troy, Hulk), Drew Barrymore (Charlie's Angels, The Wedding Singer, E.T.), and Jean Smart (TV's 24, Frasier, Designing Women).

Sun Poker signs poker superstar Kenna James
Sun Poker announced the signing of poker superstar
Kenna James to become the face and spokesperson of the brand. Kenna will serve as the captain of "Team SunPoker", and as such will be on a mission to teach every player under the "Sun" how to play better poker.
Kenna will host a special "Kenna's Korner" table on Thursday evenings at Sun Poker at 9:00 PM (schedule permitting), where members of "Team SunPoker" (players that have qualified for any land based event through Sun Poker) will be able to play and chat with Kenna to pick his brain as to how to improve their game.
In addition to his role as captain of "Team SunPoker," Kenna will represent Sun Poker in tournament play. Kenna will proudly wear the Sun Poker logo, and a percentage of his winnings will be donated, along with a matching sum from Sun Poker, to selected charities.

European Poker Tour
You can now bett on the European Poker Tour taking place in Barcelone at Paddy Power!
Paddy Power today launched the 'outright betting' and 'to make final table' markets for the European Poker Tour's first outing of the 2006/7 season in Barcelona.
The Irish bookie is the first company to offer betting on this year's event and is pricing up markets for each stop of the European Poker Tour which includes stopovers in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville and Monte Carlo.
The Barcelona EPT event, held in Casino Barcelona from 13-16 September, is one of the most popular on the tour, selling out last year and increasing its capacity to 480 this year.
Paddy Power, head of communications for the bookmakers said, "If Gaudi were still around he'd build a monument to poker.
