Playing Blackjack Online
Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games. It's easy to play, fast, and fun! There are many strategies to blackjack, and players have developed their own methods.
The rules of Blackjack:The basic rule for Blackjack is getting 21 or as close to 21 without going over and beating the dealers hand. Before the dealer deals any cards the player must place a bet on the designated area on the Blackjack table. The dealer then deals two cards to each player and then to him/herself. One of the dealer's cards are dealt face up and one is dealt face down. Kings, Queens, Jacks, are all worth ten points, the Ace can be counted as either a 1 or an 11 card and all the other cards are counted as what their value indicates.
To hit Blackjack you must get Ace and a 10 card (10, Jack, Queen, or King). If the dealer also gets hits blackjack then it is a tie and a standoff.
Some terminology to take to the Blackjack table:Hit: A hit means that you want the dealer to give you another card. This can be indicated by a hand gesture or by saying Hit me.
Stand: To Stand means that you want to stick with the cards you were dealt. This can be indicated by putting your bet over your cards or turning the cards in a horizontal direction.
Double Down: The player can double their bet on the first two cards and draw one more card to improve their hand.
Splitting Pairs: If the first two dealt cards are a pair, the player may split them into two separate hands and then bet the same amount on each and play them separately.
Insurance: If the dealer's face up card is an ace, the player may take insurance. This means that he can bet one-half of his original bet, but not more. If the dealer's down card is a 10 or face card then the player wins 2 to 1. Howeevr if it is any other card then the dealer will win.
Surrender: A player may give up the first two cards he draws and loses 1/2 of his original bet (when permitted).
